DAVID B. CHAFFEE,
B.A. General Manager Mr. Chaffee's degree is in Geology/Geophysics from the University of Hawaii, Manoa. Mr. Chaffee has been involved in Hawaiian archaeology since 1988. He has conducted studies of lithic sourcing of adz material for the Interstate H-3 Highway project as well as adz sourcing studies from Maunawili Valley in Windward O`ahu. Mr. Chaffee served as Archaeology Laboratory Supervisor at Bishop Museum before being designated as the Applied Research Group's Resource Specialist. In late 1991, he formed Scientific Consultant Services, Inc. with Dr. Spear. Since that time Mr. Chaffee has been General Manager for SCS. |
