LEANN McGERTY,
B.A. Senior Archaeologist Leann has sixteen years of Hawaiian archaeological experience. She graduated with dual-majors focusing on Hawaiian Studies and Anthropology. She has six years of supervisory-level responsibilities. She has participated in numerous field schools and volunteer archaeological projects. She has done an in-depth study of Hawaiian culture, religion, literature, mythology, genealogy, and language. Her special interests include Polynesia, pre-Contact Hawaiian history, and pre-western contact and early historic periods of New Zealand. |
